Made from Brass plated Iron
The rectangular base of the letter holder is supported by four scroll feet and the edges have an egg-and-dart motif and two cartouches (front and back)
The front and back outwardly canting panels have intricate floral motifs
The center upright panel is surmounted by a decorative flat and pierced finial with a large finger hole for carrying
The base bears the mark: B&H and the numbers 3559 and 7039
